A group of us went to McCormick and Schmicks the other night to celebrate M’s 40th (Happy Birthday!!). And I did take photos, but the lighting was just so bad I won’t put you through them, but one thing still had to be posted. The Key Lime Pie. I’m a newcomer to Key Lime anything, but still, this (large) slice was really, truly amazing. It was tart and light and fluffy and filling and the crust was thick and loaded with graham crackers. I’m still craving it, I wonder if they’d throw one in a to go box for me….

The best key lime pie in the cities is at the Birchwood Cafe. I like the M&S version but Birchwood version is 10x better.
