I’m a writer, designer, wife, mother, athlete, optimist and friend. I love black tea with cream in the morning and a glass of chardonnay in the evening. A day isn’t complete without chocolate, a good laugh and a cuddle with my dog. I love to take long walks, eat crisp oatmeal cookies and I always, without a doubt, use my turn signal. This blog is about anything and everything that inspires me, from a photo or a word to a recipe. Please take a look around and let me know what you think. You can find me at thewriteingredients (at) gmail (dot) com. Enjoy!

I’m reading your blog for the first time and am really enjoying it! Just thought I’d let you know (or remind you) that Morel Fest starts at The Bayport Cookery on May 8th, and Jim Kyndberg is also hosting a “10 year Celebration Dinner” on June 29th! (He’s owned the restaurant for 10 years this year.). It sounds like he’s going to do some spectacular things in the next couple of months…and, he has some new talent on board as well. Check out his website: http://www.bayportcookery.com. Thanks for the great site!
do you have any tried and true vegan dinner recipes?
Kathryn –
I have never intentionally cooked a vegan recipe. I’m sure some of the stuff I eat or have posted about is vegan, but I do eat some meat, usually chicken or fish, and eggs. Sorry, but I love eggs. If you have a vegan recipe you’d like me to try, send it on over. thanks!
Hey Jenn, you amaze me with this blog. I just noticed you moved – it’s been a while since I visited. You are so talented & creative – I love just reading your perspective on everything. You should really plan to write a book some day.
Cool blog Jenn.
